Postnatal Support
I love supporting mums in their own homes. I can do this from birth or when your baby is a bit older. My postnatal support can include-
-
Looking after older siblings;
-
Washing;
-
Putting baby equipment together;
-
Ironing;
-
Help with feeding the baby;
-
Look after the baby whilst you nap or have a bath;
-
Help with baby's routine- bath, naps, nappy changes;
-
Talk through birth experience;
-
Assist with outings;
-
Accompany you to appointments i.e. health visitor;
-
Take care of the baby whilst you spend time with your other children;
-
Go to baby groups with you if you want company;
-
Facilitate skin to skin time- get room ready, take care of older child or help include older child;
-
Cook...
I love to bake and cook! I believe eating healthy home cooked meals and yummy snacks is really important for you to recover from giving birth and give you much needed energy. I like to bring my love of cooking to every family I work with, supporting dad also and nurturing you all as a family. I can do this in a number of ways: by using ingredients you already have in the house, providing a suggested shopping list beforehand or going food shopping for you outside of my normal hours (for an extra fee).
I am very experienced with children from working as a nanny and later an Ofsted registered childminder.
